Evidence
The formalization distinguishes several questions about evidence.
Evidence may exist without being accessible to the evaluator.
Accessible evidence may still be impractical to obtain within the available resources.
Obtainable evidence may still be irrelevant to the specified claim.
Claim-material evidence may enable different evidentiary capabilities depending on the capability model.
Evidentiary sufficiency is represented separately from structural obtainability. The existence or quantity of evidence does not by itself prove that an assurance claim is adequately supported.
